Powell River News Events Index 1927-1999
Compiled by Bill Thompson between 1994 and 2000. The index is divided into chapters for each decade with events being listed alphabetically in each chapter.

​Digitized key word searchable copies of the Powell River News & Town Crier from 1927 to 1979 are available onsite at the Powell River Historical Museum & Archives. Additional years will be added as they are processed as part of an ongoing digitization program funded by the Province of British Columbia's Community Gaming Grant. If you cannot visit the Museum in person please contact us to arrange for distant research services.
